QNTM is a Research Tool, Not a Financial Adviser

QNTM LLC is not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any state securities regulator. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

What Our Signals Mean

HIGH, MODERATE, and LOW conviction signals are produced by an algorithm. They reflect quantitative patterns — not a judgment about whether you personally should buy or sell a stock. The same signal means different things for different investors depending on their situation, risk tolerance, tax position, and goals.

A HIGH conviction signal is not a buy recommendation. A LOW conviction signal is not a sell recommendation. A MODERATE signal is not a hold recommendation.

This applies equally to any alerts or emails we send. If you enable signal alerts, an email or in-app notice telling you that a stock has moved to LOW conviction is an automated, algorithmic notification — not advice and not a recommendation to sell. Intraday alerts in particular are based on partial-day data and are more reactive and noisier than the end-of-day signal. You remain solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

Conflicts of Interest

QNTM LLC does not hold, buy, or sell any securities. The company takes no position in any stock the model scores.

The founder and any principals of QNTM LLC may personally own and trade securities the model scores, including securities carrying a HIGH, MODERATE, or LOW signal. To manage this conflict:

The model applies the same rules to every security in its universe, regardless of whether anyone connected to QNTM holds it.

Model Portfolio

The Model Portfolio shown in QNTM is a hypothetical illustration of how the model's signals would translate into a position book. It uses equal-weighted notional sizing, ignores slippage, taxes, brokerage commissions, and dividend treatment. It is not a real portfolio, no securities are held on your behalf, and no trades are executed. It is provided for transparency about the model's behavior, not as a recommendation.

Past Performance

QNTM does not currently publish a historical backtest. The only performance we show is the live Model Portfolio, which is marked daily on the model's rules-based signals from its inception date forward. It is a hypothetical illustration (see Model Portfolio above) and does not account for all real-world costs, taxes, or execution constraints. A live track record is short by nature, and past model performance is not a guarantee of future results.

You Can Lose Money
